Everyone’s got health problems. Sometimes these are
serious problems and sometimes they are rather harmless. But even relatively innocent problems can be extremely annoying. One such problem is hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids occur due to the fact that contemporary humans eat a lot of foods that are not particularly healthy. This often disturbs our body’s capability to digest. This causes strain, which makes the rectum expand. There exist multiple ways to solve this medical problem, and some people resort to surgery.
Although surgery can solve your hemorrhoid problem, it is only something that is a method of last resort. A physician might force the patient to start eating a certain diet before the surgery, and clean his GI tract. Then they will get anestheia and the physician will look at the hemorrhoid up close. The blood supply will be removed from that particular hemorrhoid, and then the hemorrhoid itself will be removed.
This process is long and difficult, and after the surgery it will still be uncomfortable for a certain amount of time. However, given the very unpleasant alternatives, most people who are in need of surgery are more than willing to opt for it; their lives need to return to normal. Surgery is the best hemorrhoid treatment there is.

Hi Amy. You are pointing to an interesting point that hemorrhoids are caused by our eating habits. I notice that I feel worse when I eat the kinds of gluten-rich food often -pizza, mexican, italian, irish. However when I eat chinese, korean, or indian, I feel more comfortable even though these are way more spicier. Are there certain kinds of food that I should avoid?
